    Description

Old African Zulu Burnished Clay Bowl - ZIMBABWE - Early to Mid 20th Century
Old Arican clay bowl from Zimbabwe.  Missionary collected in the 1940's.  Nice burnished surface, varying shades of brown and black. Three small loop handles on each side, pierced for suspension.  Interesting abstract, cross-hatch designs throughout.  Intact, small chip on rim, with a couple of old small chips on base bottom. One fine, stable age crack in side of bowl.
Please examine photos carefully for condition.
Purchased years ago at auction, from my personal collection that I am selling to downsize. A genuine tribal artifact!
